labelled Rodolfo Fredi rest. in Roma. A.D. 1939 and further labelled Questo violino, opera di mio padre, Conte Fabio Fredi da Todi. Da lui costruito nell’anno 1889, con testa in istile Maggini e corpo in istile di Rocca Giuseppe, già parte della collezione di instrumenti ad arco della nostra famiglia. Per l’illustrissimo Professore Carlo Giacchetti di Roma, Rodolfo Fredi restaurò in Roma l’anno 1939, and branded RF with a crown internally on the back
length of back 1315/16in., 35.3cm.
